Last weekend was a wonderful time as we gathered to work at where we've been and who we are. Some of the conversation, while pushing us out of our comfort zones, helped us to look a little deeper into the struggles and "turmoil" we've experienced in the past. It was a wonderful experience to look at the time-line, observing how God has worked with us and molded us into who we are today. Although we didn't finish talking about the time-line, we do need to continue that conversation.
My proposal, by the suggestion of several others, is to, in the near future, have a shortened worship service on a Sunday morning with a 5 minute coffee break and then meet to continue the time-line conversation where we left off.
I'm looking for feedback/comments on this idea. What do you think?

The above post was posted by Dayvid who seems to be the "Radical Reformer."
I believe it is time that we open ourselves to the Spirit's leading, which is not always comfortable. I believe it is time to trust in the Spirit's leading and to follow this leading, instead of deciding how we believe it must be. Then we complain because things are not to "our" liking. I think this last weekend was a good kick off, but feel we have a ways to go. I am grateful to have begun this journey. Thanks, Dayvid!
Dear Radical Reformer; I would really like for the timeline to be discussed soon so people don't forget the first part. It was an excellent idea. I knew very little of the church history and learned quite a bit. Also, it seemed that by having people discuss it as a group that some issues were cleared up. I would also like the conversation on forgiveness to continue. I am not sure if healing has been completed from some of the early church events. Anyway, it was good to hear everyone's perspective on what had occured.
